New Release From Camio Recordings.

Groove Assassin teams up with the one and only Pete Simpson and delivers a dance floor gem! Remixes courtesy of Dom Navarra, M-Sol, H&H, and Jonny Montana.

Camio Recordings are proud to present:
Groove Assassin ft. Pete Simpson - Like what u do (Girl)

Groove Assassin team up with Sheffield's own, soul vocalist/song writer Pete Simpson, and delivers a dance floor gem entitled Like what u do. The song features live rhodes, sax and a funk fuelled bassline, and an effortless vocal performance by rising talent Pete Simpson.

The remix package comes courtesy of:
Dom Navarra, slows things down a little and hits us with some tight drum work, creating a deep hypnotic percussive groove. Which keeps you locked in Latin magic style!
M-Sol, an up and coming producer based in New Jersey, takes the song and turns out an uplifting synth led remix, fused together with a classic drum sound and long drawn out rhodes.
H&H, add to the remix package and turn in a solid remix. Which showcases some nice guitar / sax work, and smooth production skillz.

Jonny Montana, takes things on a down-tempo house vibe, kickin things off with a grand piano introduction, followed by smooth live instrumentation courtesy of Bennett Holland (Keys), Mistah Benn (Bass) and Snake Davis(sax).

Big Tune~ Lonewolf Featuring Claude Bain.

Camio Recordings are proud to present:"Big Tune" Lonewolf ft. Claude Bain. Lonewolf teams up with Camio Recordings for his first outing on the label unleashing "Big Tune". Lonewolf is a Toronto based Dj, promoter and producer. He has been actively involved in motivating the Garage Deep House music scene since 1987. He launched Disc12 productions in 1998 as an outlet to showcase several rising stars in the Canadian scene and has built a reputation as a devoted lover of music and the people who love it as well. Lonewolf’s reputation has attracted commercial ventures as well, by engineering sound for international beer ads for Miller Genuine Draft. This recognition is flattering, but it’s the dance floor where Lonewolf’s loyalty lies. Lonewolf’s passion for music is rooted in the foundations of some of the world's finest Dj's and producers like CeCe Rogers, MAW, Francis K, Ron Trent, and Roy Ayres to name a few. He strives to stay true to these pioneers by paying homage in his latest releases."I like to set a unique atmosphere and play within the borders that I have defined with uplifting music, a message of peace, and soulful rhythms." Lonewolf. Remix courtesy of Panevino. Artistic direction: Adam Jarvis - www.adamjarvis.com/Bonus track:Added to the release package: Lonewolf - Salama (Peace)Lonewolf hits it off on a deep vibe, throbbing bassline, subtle keys and dope synths. A track to lose yourself on the dancefloor too.

MC Solaar

They treat me as a traitor when I speak of silence’s defeat. Silence is of gold, but I’ve chosen the beat, A wave, a cyclone, where’s the weather gonna blow? Whoever sows the wind reaps the tempo

House Music Ain't Just Unch-Unch-Unch!

Osunlade left his native St. Louis to seek his fortune in Los Angeles, aged 17. He hasn't looked back. After scoring a break through Toni Basil, Osunlade soon found himself producing for the major labels, working with the likes of Patti Labelle, Gerardo Mejia, Freddie Jackson and Eric Benet. Osunlade is also an ordained priest in the African religion of Ifa. In what seems to most as a reverse course for a career in the music industry, Osunlade left the big league to start his own label, Yoruba, and exploded onto the underground Deep House scene. He recently released his first album, 'Paradigm' on Soul Jazz Records.
Osunlade was inspired by Club Shelter and DJ Timmy Regisford: " I think at the time it was the variety of things he'd play. He'd play the deep club anthems like the Masters At Work tracks to BeBe Winans’ ’Thank You’, to a German Tech song, which to me was like: "Whoa, what's this music?" And that kind of opened my eyes." The track that blew Osunlade's mind was by the Tech Band Isolee the fusion of tech sounds and soulful flute with a Salsa song and it's Soul gave realisation to Osunlade that " House music isn't just 'unch-unch-unch' and some fat woman singing over some rhythm." Eva Be

This very catchy reggae style is written and produced by Eva Be, with David Ben-Porat on vocals. Her talent for freestyle music I warm to very much, and in this track, the fusion of electro ragga n dub sounds puts a mischievous smile upon anyone's face, and brings out the rogue in me. Music Has The Answer.

There is music wherever there is a harmony, a systematic arrangement, or a balance. Therefore we can maintain the music of this world, and beyond. With such a worldly thought, I believe music has the answer to so many problems, happenings and situations we come across in our world and in our lives. Since music is the arch-reformer and without it life certainly would be a mistake. Learn to harmonise with it, fit in with it, submit to and follow it, in its destination. Believe in yourself, open your mind, for in music you will find the answer.

Music Is Soul.

My Soul is my music, opulent and free. My Soul is eternity *\*/* May you feel enlightened and dance to the music of my soul.

Georg Levin

Berlin-based songwriter/producer/singer Georg Levin has set his own mark within the international electronic music scene right from his very first release "When I'm With You" in 2001.
Georg has been writing songs since his childhood, playing in various bands as a keyboarder and saxophone player as well as experimenting with primitive recording equipment. He studied Communications in the UK, had a few jobs in the TV and film business in London and Berlin and was just thinking of starting a career with something decent when he met Alexander Barck from Jazzanova, co-founder of Sonar Kollektiv, and became serious about fulfilling his lifelong dream of releasing his own music.
In September 2003, Levin's first solo-album 'Can't Hold Back', including the singles 'When I'm With You', '(I got) Somebody New', and 'In Your Car', hit the stores, and the following tour with DJ, labelmate, and production partner Dixon, set the foundation for project WAHOO: Formerly Georg's and Dixon's imprint for remixes (i.e. Jazzanova's 'That Night', Victor Davies' 'Runaway Train' or Brook's Colour Me Bad').
'Take Over Me/Make 'Em Shake It' was released on Sonar Kollektiv in September 2004 and re-released by Defected Records, including remixes by Kings Of Tomorrow, Isolée and Kenny Dope.
Georg also produces and writes songs for other artists such as longtime musical partner Clara Hill, as well as working on further solo material. Stream or right click to download Georg Levin track 'Can't Hold Back' http://media.sonarkollektiv.com:8000/sonark/DE-P96-03-00061.mp3
