In Memory Of Nathaniel 'Crocket' Wilkie

It's been a year since the world of music lost Nathaniel 'Crockett' Wilkie, keyboard player extraordinaire with The Masters of Funk Soul and Blues. He was an original member of Gypsy Lane, a group of studio musicians that recorded for acts like, the Ritchie Family and the Village People. For twenty one years he was Patti LaBelle's arranger, producer and keyboard player. He later toured with Najee, Jeff Majors and others. He was responsible for every hit the Village People made. Crockett’s career has placed him in the company of some of music’s greatest.

My friend Coop, also an extremely talented musician and producer, worked closely with Crockett and has remixed a track in memory of him. May the memory of his great talents and wonderful music live on forever.
